Meet the New Chairs and Their Plan
I want to thank everyone that came to the General Meeting last weekend to elect new officers and decide on amendments to our bylaws. Our Caucus is a true grassroots movement where *everyone* can vote on the leadership together and the organization of our group — and that’s what makes it special.
Introductions
Both myself and my Vice Chair wanted to introduce ourselves to you and pioneer our 90 Day Plan aimed at revamping our volunteer resources so we can power through the rest of the year in the lead up to the 2026 Libertarian National Convention in Grand Rapids, MI. If we’re going to be successful in pushing classical liberalism messaging in the Libertarian Party, and beyond, then we have to be a well-lubricated machine with volunteers working hard to connect with delegates, party members, and Americans across the nation.

Sergio Ortega, Chair
I first joined the Libertarian Party in 2022 after watching Chase Oliver wipe the floor with Raphael Warnock in the televised GA Senate Debate that year. I’m currently a member of the Libertarian Party of Georgia Executive Committee and have been involved in youth outreach for libertarian causes. I’m a student at the University of North Georgia studying History with a concentration in the history of government, statism, and social history.

Tommy Creuzer, Vice Chair
In my history of activism, I first became a volunteer for Project Liberal somewhat early on because it seemed like a cool organization for classical liberalism. At that time, I had no idea what the LP was doing internally. But through the people I met there, I learned of Chase Oliver and the Classical Liberal Caucus and joined in on support immediately. I ended up helping the Chase campaign with write-ins after realizing the person who used to help with that was chased away from the party, knowing I had to do something. After joining the CLC, it was initially hard to get involved because the caucus had lost its onboarding process due to a lack of capacity. I ended up stepping in for both moderation and helping to create an onboarding process for volunteers myself. This led me to realize that I need to take the next step and become vice chair of the CLC myself.
The 90 Day Plan
Myself and the Vice Chair have come together to identify our focuses for the next 90 days. Our plan, fully outlined below, is to build and bulk the volunteer resources of the caucus to begin working hard to spread classical liberal messaging.
Our mission is clear: to revive the soul of the Libertarian Party, the soul of
classical liberalism.
The future is bright for classical liberalism in the Libertarian Party as we enter a new dawn of focused energy for our caucus. I encourage everyone to attend our next Board Meeting where we are going through our 90 Day Plan before the CLC Board and all the members attending. I hope to see you there and I want to thank you for being part of this movement.
In liberty,
Sergio Ortega,
Caucus Chair
