Chase Oliver is the Counter to Bill Weld
On basic style, Oliver and Weld could not be more different. Even though they are both socially liberal, they’re socially liberal in different ways owing to their different backgrounds and political contexts. Weld’s position on gun rights has been weak, reflecting his background as an old-fashioned New England Republican.
